One of Dallas' favorite and best yoga studios according Yelp and The Dallas Observer is part of the East Dallas renaissance happening on Garland road.

The studio founded by Jessica Jordan in 2009 is located next to the white hot Lounge Here and upstairs inside the boutique vinyl and gift shop The Good Pagoda.

The light-filled bohemian space is an unexpected oasis of peace and calm for the White Rock Lake, Lakewood and Little Forest Hills community.

  Freedom From the Fog   The brain is the most complex, mystical organ in our body – why not treat it as such?   In a world full of quick-fixes, it can be difficult to decipher between things that heal us and things that simply numb us.  Turning your awareness inward and diving into your subconscious is never an easy or quick process – vulnerability is uncomfortable.  However, when we take the time to work through the muddy waters of our mind, we are able to unearth a strength within ourselves that we never knew existed.   Jon Leigha McCathren for a workshop will teach you different holistic techniques to work through the heavier chapters of your healing process and find light in even the darkest of places. Find solace within the SYP family as we hold space for open discussion as well as work through guided meditations, breath techniques, tension + stress relieving asanas, and the incorporation of other therapeutic release methods such as sound healing, journaling, and essential oils.   The workshop will include a journal notebook and an essential oil roller of your very own.   $25 early bird $30 day of

Thai massage works with the body's energy lines to release tension in the muscles, increase circulation and flexibility, and balance the body's natural equilibrium.   No partner? No problem! We will dive into anatomy and physiology, functional alignment, assisting, class structure and sequencing, traditional Chinese medicine as it pertains to yin yoga, as well as how to cultivate and maintain a yin yoga home practice.   This training is open to all Yin enthusiasts! WHAT IS MYSORE

The Mysore style of yoga asana practice is a particular way of teaching yoga within the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. This is the most intimate, personal and developed way of practicing yoga it is also the most traditional, time-honored and historic method. There are some differences in this method from the usual modern way in which yoga is taught. The class is not "led" as a whole but rather all instruction is one-on-one within the group class setting. Students practice their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence of asanas at their own pace. The teacher assists each student individually by giving physical adjustments & verbal instruction.

Krista Shirley Mysore Mentor to Super Yoga Palace

Krista Shirley is a dedicated student and practitioner of traditional Ashtanga yoga. She was introduced to this practice in 2003 and immediately embraced it as a daily part of her life because she was magnetically drawn to the healing this practice provides. For the last twelve years Krista has rolled her mat out each day because it is such an intrinsic part of who she is. Ashtanga Yoga has given Krista health and wellness, comfort, stability, peace, mindfulness and an outlet to work on herself and help others.

Krista began making yearly, long term, visits to Mysore, India in 2006 in order to fully connect to this lineage and embrace and surrender to a teacher that could help facilitate her growth and provide a deep source of inspiration. 

Krista’s dedication to her personal yoga practice and the Ashtanga lineage shine through in her teaching. Her energy is contagious and inspiring because she lives this yoga daily and experiences tremendous fulfillment in helping people find and deepen their growth in this practice. Krista continues her trips to Mysore each year to continue her own studies because she believes it is very important all students have a teacher, a guide, to aid and inspire along the path.  Krista's little boy Kaiden now tags along with her each year as she makes her treks to Mysore.

Since May 2017 Krista has been mentoring the Mysore program at Super Yoga Palace. Come be part of this very special community.
