The shortest day and the longest night of the year is upon us. This extended period of darkness does not intimidate, but instead, asks us to look inward at our own inner light. The inherently private nature of this season creates a safe, introverted space for us to lean into the darkness and bask in it's sweet silence. Go within & illuminate from the inside out.
Our home practice is an important piece to our health, well-being, and ultimately longevity. It is a deeper connection to our own self and physiology and a practice more attuned to our needs.
Whether you have 5 minutes or 50 minutes in your day, Christy Maskeroni will help you discover the tools and techniques to cultivate your own home practice.

It's the day after Thanksgiving... You've got a full belly and you're ready to fill your heart with grace and ease. It's only fitting that we celebrate the full moon on this day! Take this time to be still and reflect - honor the space between where you started and where you are now.
When you are able to give to yourself, first and foremost, you can give to others without exhausting yourself. You can receive from others without feeling guilty or selfish. When you let love and light in, love and light radiate outward.
Here’s a challenge for you this gift giving season, take the unconventional route. Instead of racing in traffic to the mall, or scrolling though endless online boutiques, give a gift with soul – something small that you crafted with love. You don’t have to be an artist or even have a creative bone in your body to curate a gift that is from the heart. If you’re looking for inspiration, we've got you covered.
Sanskrit is the ancient Indic language of India and the first documented language of yoga. The language itself is over 3,000 years old and is still used in many traditional yoga classes today.
We're opening up this module of our Yoga Teacher Training for a one-of-a-kind workshop experience for the entire community! Join SYP soul sister, Sarah Rene Valentine Lee, for an afternoon of discovery and education as we explore the ancient language of the yoga practice we hold near and dear to our hearts.
The enneagram is an ancient tool used to not only label people as a certain type or caricature but to help you see what motivates your actions and triggers your thoughts. The Enneagram then moves beyond even that core self to how you may act and feel under pressure or in health and how you relate to other people of various types. In this class we will look more at where the Enneagram comes from, how to read it and what it's uses are in your personal life and in community.
This workshop will teach you different holistic techniques to work through the heavier chapters of your healing process and find light in even the darkest of places. Find solace within the SYP family as we hold space for open discussion as well as work through guided meditations, breath techniques, tension + stress relieving asanas, and the incorporation of other therapeutic release methods such as sound healing, journaling, and essential oils.
